Angelo State University “Small Business Development Center”
The Angelo State University’s SBDC’s mission is to
“promote growth, expansion, innovation, increased productivity,
and improved management for small businesses in the ten counties
that comprise the SBDC service area”. Business development
assistance is free of charge, and is provided to new and existing
companies locating in this 10 county area. (Tom Green, Irion,
Concho, McCulloch, Crockett, Schleicher, Menard, Mason, Sutton
& Kimble)

The Business Factory
Formerly the Concho Valley Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CVCED)
“The mission of the business incubator and accelerator program is to assist entrepreneurs in the formation and development of new enterprises so these enterprises can survive and succeed. To do so, an incubation program offers a supportive setting facilitating the process by which an entrepreneur develops a busin ess concept into a viable commercial enterprise.”

Concho Valley Workforce Development Board and Workforce Solutions
There are 28 Workforce Development Boards across Texas providing a variety of services to businesses, jobseekers, and community organizations. The Concho Valley Board serves 13 counties. Workforce Development Boards have replaced Texas Workforce Commission offices. They are funded by state and federal programs for the benefit of local employers, jobseekers, at risk youth, and other populations. The Employer Services Division is a collaborative effort of the Concho Valley Workforce Development Board and Workforce Solutions of the Concho Valley. The primary mission of the Employer Services Division is to serve employers’ needs, including, but not limited to the following:
